Fresh off their appearances on the 2012 edition of the Coors Light Indie Fest, Active RockersMESSAGE TO VENUS are pleased to announce the release of their second single,“Change”, in an exclusive video launch with The NewReview. The video contains footage from their performance at the Coors Light Indie Fest, one of the biggest production in the band’s career, where the crowd, numbering in the thousands, were treated to the band’s blistering 45-minute set. The fine journalists at The NewReview were completely on-board when the band offered them the exclusive for the release. “We are very excited to premiere this music video on The NewReview. These guys have been totally suppor tive in helping us get the word out about MESSAGE TO VENUS since the very beginning”, says guitarist John Feliciano.

In addition to the launch of the video, the band is actively finishing up work on their debut full-length release, “Victims & Villains”, which should see a nationwide release by the end of this year. Already, the buzz is growing in anticipation of the release as major programmers like Sirius Octane’s Jose Mangin have showcased the track “Cold & Grey” from the forthcoming album. 2011′s “The Envelope” EP is still doing very well on iTunes and Amazon MP3 with two singles (including “Change”) already hitting commercial radio with stellar results.

Hey guys! It’s been a long time since we posted a note to let you know what we’ve been up to…so here it goes.

We are currently promoting “Change” as a new single (from The Envelope EP), which means that it’s been submitted to all radio stations across the USA/Puerto Rico. We have equal opportunity, in theory, of being played in all of them, but we just need you to request it. We need all your support. A single call, email, Facebook or Twitter post can make a world of difference.

As you know, we are a DIY band. We don’t have a label, a marketing team, public relations liaison, nor a big promoter (or small). It is just us four guys with really basic music industry know-how, some good friends helping out, our day jobs to help us get through day-to-day living, and a great desire to accomplish something BIG.

Also, we’re gearing up for this year’s Coors Light Indie Fest, hosted in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This will be our first mayor gig in Puerto Rico and we’re really pumped for it! It’s gonna be big: MGMT will be headlining, Babasonicos will co-headline and there are some really good local acts like Circo, Los Petardos!, Davila 666, The Disfunction and more! We have been working hard to put on a great show. Besides songs from our EP, you’ll get a preview of a couple of songs from our next album (Victims & Villains ) so if you’re in Puerto Rico, don’t' miss it! We hope to see you there, it’s gonna be freaking awesome!

Starting Monday, March 5th thru Sunday, March 11th the band is asking fans to call, email or tweet their local rock radio station every hour from noon until 4pm to request the single. That’s it!!! Just four times a day, for one week and request that your favorite radio station play “Change”!
